My husband and I took a long walk down and up and around several blocks this evening. The snow in our area is slowly melting. A few mountains and mounds of icy snow are left. The dirty grey piles are ugly; but they were covering up a lot of stuff.
Folks have a lot of clean up ahead; or not. Some do, and some don’t.
There’s a deep spiritual application wandering around here somewhere….
love to go on long walks when able. sounds like a wonderful way to spend time with your beloved!

Spring, with its fresh and beautiful colors will be the reward for the long winter you have all endured!!!! It also reminds us of the restoration and fresh starts we experience with our God! Blessings today!

A few years ago a friend told me that when the snow melted in their neighborhood it revealed a post streetlight that had been knocked down during a snow storm. The neighborhood realized they were missing the light and it was restored a few days later, once again piercing the darkness.

Now THERE’S a whole spiritual analogy! When our light dims, sometimes we don’t notice until the Spirit sweeps out those things that come between. Good one! Thanks. 😊

It reminds me of the Pharisees. When the snow melts, what is inside will be revealed. Blessings, Kathy!
