I have been burdened to pray these last times, for unity in God’s people through His Spirit. As children of God, we all have His same Spirit. When that Spirit is allowed full reign, when we are obedient to Him, then we all work in unity, toward the same purpose of glorifying God Almighty.
Please join me as I use God’s Word to pray. As I pray at different times, I direct His Words and my prayer to myself, to my marriage/family, to my church, to my community, my state, my nation, and my world. May my eyes look unto the Hand of my Master; and may He have mercy on us.
Romans 15.5-7
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
Psalm 123
{A Song of degrees.} Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
Psalms 90.12-17
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Selah. Amen and amen!

Oh how we should all be praying for unity……..we may be all different, come from different backgrounds, think different politically but we all are under one Savior who is the LORD of all our lives. WE are unified by CHRIST and in agreement with you here to continue to pray unity for the BODY OF CHRIST! Bless you for this post!
